What are your current beliefs? Have you taken time lately to examine what you believe to be true? It’s not an area I go to often and I’ll bet you don’t go there often either. Your beliefs either limit the success you enjoy or they empower you to create the life you want and deserve to live. Those in the know say we can have as many as 200 limiting beliefs in our conscious and subs-conscious mind. Becoming aware of those limiting beliefs can be one of the most life changing discoveries you can make.

At birth you have no beliefs. As you grow and develop into an adult, you adopt the beliefs of those who have influence over you. If you are lucky, those acquired beliefs will empower you to create a great and wonderful life and future. If you are exposed to crippling beliefs, and we all are, then you may have acquired beliefs that greatly limit the success you can realize. Thankfully, you have the ability to choose and change your beliefs. That means you can choose new beliefs, rise above your current life circumstances, and change your life.

There are hundreds of thousands of stories about people making breakthroughs in their beliefs and creating greater success, abundance, and wealth. Les Brown, a popular motivational trainer and speaker, was adopted at the age of six weeks by a single woman. They were poor and barely made ends meet. In school Les was bored and unmotivated as a student. By fourth grade he was labeled “educably mentally retarded.” He believed it and played that role. One of his teachers broke through that crippling belief and guided Les into changing it. The rest is history as Les Brown created a rich and famous life only dreamed about by many people.

The lesson is this for you and me. We can examine what we believe and become conscious of those beliefs. We can question if our beliefs are limiting us from creating the life we want to live? With that knowledge we gain, we can choose to change our beliefs and lives. We can remove the limitations to developing and using more of our potential and greatness. We can create the life we dream of living. Get busy; we have a lot of work to do. Ask Les Brown if it is worth the effort? Ask any successful person if they manage their beliefs? Become more aware of your beliefs and unleash more of your greatness! Do it now!
