VendorSeek.com gathers information in order to bring business-to-business services to consumers, free of charge. VendorSeek.com considers business-specific information to include contact names, addresses, phone/fax numbers, e-mail/website addresses, and credit card numbers. Additionally, we create vendor profiles that may contain proprietary information.

Use of Information:

VendorSeek.com gathers information in an attempt to introduce business-to-business vendors to consumers in order to satisfy their professional needs.

Registration:

While visiting www.VendorSeek.com individuals can view pages and need not worry about revealing personal information. VendorSeek.com collects information via industry standard web log files that include a URL address, where you presently are located, browser information and IP address. VendorSeek.com may also use "cookies."

Quote Seekers: Visitors to www.VendorSeek.com, who wish to utilize the site to receive free quotes for products or services from the VendorSeek.com approved Vendor Network, need only:

1. Answer a few qualifying questions specific to the product or service they are seeking quotes for.
2. Provide basic contact information including: Name, Company Name, Position, Address, Phone Number, Email Address, Website.
3. We also request that the Quote Seeker specify how they found VendorSeek.com
4. Quote Seeker should also select Yes/No to the option to receive communications from VendorSeek.com, including newsletters and special offers from our Vendors. Individuals not wishing to receive emails and other communications should select No to Opt-out of receiving these. Note: selecting No will not prevent the delivery of the standard confirmation emails that are automatically sent by the website in regards to the Quote Seekers request for free quotes.

Vendors: Companies that provide the Products/Services inline with the quoting categories offered on VendorSeek.com, have the opportunity to register on the website as a Vendor and receive referrals of Quote Seekers who require what that offer. To register as Vendor, the company must provide:

1. General contact information including: Name, Company Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address(es), Website.
2. Select the Categories they wish to receive referrals for and provide specific parameters as to the types of referrals they wish to receive. Note: these must be in accordance with the information that is being gathered from Quote Seekers through the request forms on the Website.
3. Upon registration, the Vendor must also provide a valid credit card to be utilized for all billing activity

*Note: Registration is subject to the VendorSeek approval process.

VendorSeek.com will keep the identity of Vendors in our Network confidential, unless the Vendor should so choose to utilize any of the Advertising opportunities that are offered by VendorSeek.com that would identify the Vendor as a member of our Network. This would include, but not be limited to: Logo Ads, Instant Intros, Newsletter ads, Industry Experts articles, testimonials authorized for use on the site.

Ownership of Quote Seeker Information:

As the purpose of the VendorSeek.com is to match Quote Seeker with Pre-approved Vendors, information submitted for the purpose of receiving free quotes will be owned by VendorSeek.com and also becomes the property of the Vendors in the Network who are referred to the Quote Seeker. By placing a request to receive free quotes, the Quote Seeker accepts this use of their information.

Cookies:

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record keeping purposes. We use cookies on this site. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. We use persistent cookies. Both vendors and those submitting requests are required to complete an online form which requests specific data. This includes contact information, demographics and information designed to assist you with searching for specific vendor/request-related inquiries. Various departments at VendorSeek.com may review your company's information. Credit card information is stored securely through encryption and SSL connection. We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

Surveys & Contests :

Occasionally and in order to heighten your experience with VendorSeek.com, we may ask you to complete a survey, or suggest you enter a contest. Any information obtained via a survey or contest is held in the strictest of confidence. Information regarding contest winners may be communicated through a corporate news publication, however each contest will display a disclaimer saying so. Vendors with VendorSeek.com can change profile information at any time by accessing their profiles with the appropriate sign-in name and password. Individuals who place requests can update, change or remove information by contacting custserv@VendorSeek.com.

Service Providers:

VendorSeek.com is considered a "third-party referral service." We use other third parties [or vendors] to provide business related services on our site. When you sign up to VendorSeek.com we will share business related (non-proprietary) information as necessary for the third party to provide that service.

Choice/Opt Out:

Receiving additional information such as newsletters, updates and other publications is strictly voluntary.

We provide you the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes when we ask for this information.
